Barrett Esophagus without dysplasia

Barrett‘s esophagus results from gastroesophageal Reflux and harbors an increased annual cancer risk (0.1%-0.7%). Via low and high grade Dysplasia Barrett‘s may develop cancer. Therefore, elimination of Barrett‘s esophagus without Dysplasia is considered for cancer prevention (1).
